Aesthetic Medicine
In February 2017, by a resolution of the Senate of the Poznań Medical University named after Prince Mieszko I, the Center for Aesthetic Medicine was established. Dr. Krzysztof Wachal was appointed as the Director of the unit. The main task of the newly established Center was to create a platform and resources for further development of the university's educational offerings. Within its framework, a new two-year postgraduate program in Aesthetic Medicine was created, aimed at medical doctors and dentists. Additionally, a one-year postgraduate program in Cosmetic Podiatry was designed for cosmetologists. The program includes theoretical courses and a range of non-invasive and invasive procedures, taught by world-renowned and national authorities in aesthetic medicine. We hope that this new offering will attract considerable interest from future students, especially since all programs respond to the dynamically growing market of commercial services in these specializations, and PAM is the only university in Western Poland that offers studies in this prestigious field.
